Xeomin® is an injectable anti-aging treatment that is in the family of products that treats dynamic wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles. The injections can even soften those embarrassing crow’s feet on the outer edges of your eyes.

What Can I Expect from Xeomin®?

Your facial wrinkles around the eyes and forehead are softened by injecting Xeomin® along the muscles. In order to fully treat the wrinkles, Dr. Taghizadeh will make several injections along the muscles. You may feel a slight pinch as the small needle is inserted into the skin and muscle. Dr. Taghizadeh can apply a numbing agent if you are uncomfortable during the treatment. You will see some improvement after the treatment, and full results take up to seven days.

How Xeomin® Differ from Other Types of Injectable Fillers?

In clinical trials, some men and women experienced better results with Xeomin® when compared to Botox®. This does not necessarily mean that Xeomin® is necessarily better, but that some people simply respond better to one product over the other. Recovery from Xeomin®

The most common symptom after Xeomin® injections is localized tenderness around the sites where the needle was inserted into the skin. The tenderness typically lasts only 24 to 48 hours. Ice packs can help with the discomfort.
